Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Accountancy and/ or Mathematics)
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree)
- 2 -3 years relevant finance administration experience, including strong reconciliation experience
- Previous experience within a retail environment would be advantageous
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Strong administration knowledge and ability
- Good knowledge of financial administration and basic accounting principles (debits, credits, journals, reconciliations) and their application (finance systems)
- Computer skills, intermediate to advanced Excel
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:
Treasury & Cashflow management:
- Perform daily cash flow duties in accordance with agreed upon procedures
- Record daily bank account movement on bank summaries
- Prepare and capture monthly bank journals (SA, BLNS countries)
Bank reconciliation:
- Review of monthly bank reconciliations
- Query, resolve and journalise reconciling items
- Communication reconciling items across teams
Filing & Administration:
- Daily & monthly filing duties
- Downloading of on-line electronic bank statements for all bank accounts
- Filing of financial information and documentation in line with statutory and legal requirements. (e.g. Electronic & Manual Bank statements & Cash flow documentation)
- Perform bulk sale bank deposit confirmations for stores (upon stores’ request).
