Requirements:
Minimum educational qualification:

  • Health related Degree or National Diploma registrable with the South African Statutory Health Professions Council.

Experience:

  • Appropriate experience in Quality Assurance in the health sector.

Inherent requirement of the job:

  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Competencies (knowledge/skills):

  • Advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance in Health.
  • Advanced knowledge of National Core Standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Program.
  • Extensive knowledge of health delivery systems.
  • Proficient in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
  • Computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office.

Duties (key results areas/outputs):

  • Coordinate and manage all Quality Assurance Program activities.
  • Coordinate and manage Occupational Health and Safety Program activities.
  • Coordinate and support all National Core Standards activities .
  • Support of Employee Health and Wellness Program.
  • Support of Infection, Prevention & Control initiatives.
  • Support of system to manage Medical waste.
