Secretary
Our client is recruiting for a Secretary.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist management on a daily basis
- Draft and execute documentation and correspondence
- Travel arrangements, hotel reservations, flight bookings and vehicle hire
- Able to implement own initiative in making important decisions
- Typing of minutes, memorandums and various reports from hand written drafts
- Provide admin support with tender documents and project administration
- Capturing and coordinating of timesheets
- General administration duties (filing, emails, copies, binding of documents etc)
- Diary management
- Arrange meetings as well as meeting venues and facilities
- Composing tender proposals
- Liaison with revenue management accountants
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must have a secretarial diploma or relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years experience as a secretary
- Advanced level of MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook)
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- High level of assertiveness, but approachable and friendly
- Excellent organisational skills; and
- Professional telephone skills – screening telephone and personal callers in order to ensure that the manager is not unnecessarily interrupted
- Candidate should preferably be from a consulting engineering environment
