Fashion Office Administrator (Cape Town)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To coordinate all administrative tasks pertaining to the fashion office and assist the design team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Capturing CAD information on the PEPartwork system
  • Creating artwork files on the M-Drive
  • Backing-up artwork administration
  • Managing the ordering of magazines
  • Photographing of samples
  • Maintaining of the print and graphic library
  • Maintaining of Pantone library and identifying replenishment needs
  • Assisting with storyboards and trend books
  • Managing and assisting buyers with colour printing
  • General administrative duties
  • Introduction to CAD design
  • Liasing with suppliers regarding artwork

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant diploma/certificate will be advantageous
  • 2-3 years administrative experince, preferably in a design or buying environment
  • Computer literacy (MS Office), Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on Mac platforms will be beneficial
  • Competencies required: Excellent planning and organising skills; service prientation; attention to detail; good communication skills; and strong interpersonal and administrative skills
