PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To pack the stationery that has to be distributed to Pep employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpretation of orders for stationery to be packed
  • Picking, packing and attaching of labels
  • Answering telephone calls and taking messages
  • Receiving of stationery from suppliers
  • Packing surplus stock in the store
  • Assisting with stocktakes
  • Assisting to keep the area neat and tidy

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12
  • Previous stationery clerk experience (advantageous)
  • Competencies required: Service Orientation; Detail Orientation; Planning, Organizing and Control; Openess, Passion.

SUPERVISOR: TRADE CREDITORS CAPE TOWN

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To supervise the quality of the Supplier Reconciliations; resolving and processing of the Supplier Claims in the Trade Creditors Department and to perform other specialist functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approval and signing off creditor reconciliations
  • Follow up and resolve queries
  • Monitoring and overseeing processing of supplier claims
  • Approval and signing off of credits
  • Prepare management information reports
  • GL reconciliations
  • Assist with approval and processing of payments
  • Load and change supplier details on systems
  • General Ad Hoc duties

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 with Accounting
  • Financial Certificate/Diploma (or studying towards it)
  • 5-10 years practical experience in a Financial/Creditors Department
  • 5 years’ experience in supervision
  • Excellent Reconciliation Skills
  • Computer literacy: MS Office knowledge with excellent Excel skills
  • Competencies required: Leadership; Building relationships; Detail Orientation; Problem Assessment; Decision Making; Planning, Organising and Control and Stress Tolerance.

Capturing and processing of information in order to upload the data into the system, as well as data reconciliation and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

•     Preparing Journals
•     Preparing Payments
•     Monthly Reconciliations
•     Solving Queries in the Appropriate Timeframe
•     General Administration Duties
•     Filing and Ad Hoc Reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

•     Grade 12 with Accounting
•     Relevant Tertiary Qualification is Advantageous
•     Minimum 1 Year Relevant Experience
•     Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
•     Fully Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
•     Competencies Required: Planning, Organising and Control, Communication, Building and maintaining relationships,
Detail orientation; Stress tolerance and Service Orientation
