KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assistance with the ZAR invoicing project which includes conversion of invoicing, reporting and supplier communication
  • Creating imports shipments and documentary Letter of Credits
  • Ensure imports documents are accurate on the database prior to submitting to the clearing agent and banks in order to establish documentary Letter of Credits
  • Follow up on all outstanding documents from the suppliers to avoid late clearances
  • Follow up on all outstanding pro-formas and orders not released that are due for shipment
  • Update all events relevant to the shipment module on MMS database
  • Tracking of import shipments
  • Controlling of imports schedule with all containers docking for delivery to the Distribution Centre
  • Assistance with weekly and month-end reports
  • General administration duties

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 with Accounting
  • An Imports/Exports qualification would be advantageous
  • Relevant work experience would be advantageous
  • Computer Literacy (MS Excel- Above average)
  • Strong administration skills – attention to detail and accuracy

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Degree/National Diploma in business/marketing or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in managing or defining direct marketing communications plans across channels and the customer lifecycle.
  • 5+ years experience in a direct marketing/campaign management/CRM/data management role.
  • Strong industry experience in Retail, Consumer Products or Financial Services and a strong background in data analytics and insights generation.
  • Creative/agency experience (or experience working with BTL agencies) would be an advantage.
