This position reports to the Restaurant Support Team Leader

Job Title:  Restaurant Support Assistant

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-level support to Mr D Food restaurant partners.
  • Assisting restaurants with:
    • Any Mr D Food restaurant device problems
    • Menu update requests,
    • Individual order related queries raised by customers or restaurants
    • Restaurant operations issues.
  • Logging Zendesk tickets and assigning them to the relevant departments for second-level support. This includes Finance, Operations, Device Support and Product. Respond back to restaurants with the resolution once ticket is resolved.
  • Monitoring the restaurant acceptance of food orders and contacting restaurants to ensure a high order acceptance percentage.
  • Monitoring the connectivity performance of restaurant devices, performing basic troubleshooting, and/or escalating bigger problems to the device management team.
  • Manually hiding and un-hiding menu items that are reported as out of stock.
  • Daily reporting on Restaurant support activities, device performance and restaurant acceptance ratios.
  • Logging of system errors and bugs as they arise.
  • Working closely with Food CSM to provide restaurant information to him for Food CS to resolve customer problems
  • Experience in supporting SAAS product beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work shifts – able to work rotational shifts, Public Holidays, weekends and flexible hours as required by the business operation

  • National Senior Certificate or Higher

Duties:

  • Support HR Manager in general tasks
  • Process leave requests, rewards, performance reviews and weekly team meetings
  • Maintain all policies and procedures and communicate any changes to all employees
  • Ensure all employee and HR information is kept confidential
  • Ability to handle all HR enquiries
  • Project management of tasks in all departments and hold responsible individuals accountable
  • Recruitment: develop/maintain relationships with Recruitment Agencies and other recruitment sources, head hunting, being innovative in finding new talent, and conduct job applicant reviews by evaluating applicants’ skills and making recommendations to appropriate manager
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with appropriate manager / GM and assist with contracts etc. when appointing new employees
  • Manage and maintain leave, absenteeism, benefits
  • Provide advice and support to managers with effective implementation of the Poor Performance Management process and follow disciplinary procedures that are in place
  • Work with Marketing for Internal Marketing and team building
  • Assist managers in monitoring and evaluating performance of new employees
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Contribute to training needs analysis

Requirements: 

  • BComm (Hons) Organisational Psychology / HR or similar
  • Experience preferred
  • Sound knowledge and good understanding of various labour legislation
  • Good project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Up to date with current tech, trends and best practices in HR practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage all client and intermediary queries and process their requests (For example, portfolio queries, tax reports, etc.)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree
  • Registered person exam (would be an advantage but not mandatory)
  • Basic understanding of the Private Client business and the stock-broking environment
  • Experience within a financial services industry is essential
  • Experience in a stock-broking environment is essential
  • Bonds and Safex exams would be an advantage
