Direct Sales Executive (Cape Town)

The Direct Sales Executive will be responsible for gaining entry to potential commercial short term insurance markets by generating qualified leads for the Business OUTsurance Sales Department.
This is a strategic role and the individual will be required to develop suitable marketing strategies and track the success of their lead generation activities.
The job of Direct Sales Executive will require extensive travelling and the chosen candidate will be remunerated on a commission basis. It is common knowledge that people who are self employed are overall financially more successful than structured income earners. Their earnings are tied directly to their efforts, so the ability to maximize their income is within their control.
Candidate will be remunerated on a performance based salary system.

The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to generate leads byCOLD CALLING with confidence – focusing specifically on SMME’s and Business Professionals. You will not be provided with any leads.
Persistence and persuasiveness and a proven direct sales/Cold Calling track record are prerequisites of this position.Â We are looking for a disciplined dynamic self-starter with good time management skills as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure.Â The Direct Sales Executive must also be able to communicate effectively at all levels within a commercial client base.

A National Senior Certificate (Grade 12/Matric).
A minimum of two years experience as a direct/face to face sales consultant.
Your own reliable transport plus valid driver license – Code B.
Mid level computer literacy skills.
